Youth Aviator Weekend Flight Academy
Program Operation
Saturday and Sunday (all year round)
Hours : 8am - 3pm
* Weather Permitting
* Alternating Weekends
Flight Lessons
- Flight Lessons on weekends (*weather permitting)
- Instructed by FAA Certified Flight Instructors
- Transportation to and from Republic Airport In Farmingdale Long Island
Classroom Instruction
- Zoom Ground School Lessons
- Instructed by FAA Certified Flight Instructors
- STEM
- Fundamentals of flight
Supplies
- 2 UYA Academy sweatshirts
- 2 UYA T-shirts
- 1 UYA backpack
- Pilot log book
Youth Aviator Summer Aviation Program
Cost
$2,000 a week per youth
Aviator Age
13 - 17 years old
Program Dates

- 5-6 week Program
- Usual operating July -August
Program Operation
Monday - Thursday
Hours 8 am - 4 pm
*Friday (Trip day) hours vary according to trip
Program Uniform
- 4 UYA program shirts
- 1 UYA backpack
- Pilot log book
- Pilot knee pad
Flight Lessons
- Flight Lessons twice a week (* weather permitting)
- Instructed by FAA Certified Flight Instructors
- Transportation to and from Republic Airport In Farmingdale L.I
- 12 hours of logged flight time
- All Aviators will be insured

- Ground School Lessons

- Fundamentals of flight
Program Recreation
- Off campus field trips every Friday
- Various program activities

Program Awards
Blue Angel Awardee
- Chosen Aviator will take 2 family members on a flight to Marthas Vineyard
Top Gun Awardee
- Chosen Aviator will take 2 family members on a city flight tour
